The Finnish Cryonics Society (KRYOFIN, www.kryoniikka.fi) wants to offer suspended animation services to people in Finland. We are prepared to store brains long-term in liquid nitrogen (cryonics) abroad or maybe in Finland. However, whatever and wherever the long-term storage, prompt initial cooling and blood washout is essential for any hope of meaningful future resuscitation. For this first aid, we need money to buy parts for an ice bath (see for example http://www.oregoncryo.com/icebath.html). We also need to buy further equipment needed in the suspension process, such as King Airway (http://www.kingsystems.com/medical-devices-supplies-products/airway-management/) for simple airway management.
Thank you for your support!
Edit 3 Feb 2015: added some background about first aid as it relates to cryonics.
